For those who want a quick fix
1. Take the bamboo somewhere in the middle background of the screen.
2. Go into the hut.
3. Talk to Angolo (the shopkeeper).
5. Use metal detector charged with ground (left side of screen).
6. Go back, ask Angolo for batteries
7. Use batteries with metal detector, and go out.
8. Use metal detector charged with ground (right side of screen). You will get a necklace.
10. Use the hook on bamboo to get hook attached to bamboo stick
Désiré will now travel to France in search of the manuscript (to find his colours). He probably took the ivory and sold them for tickets to escape..
13. Go inside the warehouse to the bookshelf at the far right of the page and keep clicking on each book. Keep trying and you will eventually find the manuscript. You will also break the vase and the shopkeeper will come out.
17. Talk to the sales assistant. He will reveal that he is David from high school (the bully whom Désiré "publicised" for watching porn in 1992)
18. Duel David:
20. Use bookmark on Désiré to find the address of an artist, probably the author of the manuscript.
25. Use empty jerrican with slit.
26. The bimbo will then go into the shop. Use the empty jerrican with fuel pump to fill it up.

- Take the metal detector uncharged
- Do you have any batteries for the detector?
- Angolo will give you batteries. Use it with the metal detector uncharged to charge it.
4. Go out.

6. Go back, ask Angolo for batteries

8. Use metal detector charged with ground (right side of screen). You will get a necklace.
9. Give the necklace to Angolo. He gives you a hook.

18. Duel David:
The operations are simple - click on Désiré to defend/shield, and click on David to attack.
The strategy is to click on Désiré when David moves back (he is getting ready to attack), and click on David during all other times. What I did was to keep defending and only attack after David has made his moves.
There are 4 rounds in total - you get 3 hits each round, 5 tries (or chances to be attacked) per round. In the end, David will fall to the ground and you will end up in a petrol station.

20. Use bookmark on Désiré to find the address of an artist, probably the author of the manuscript.
21. Go into the shop.
22. Talk to lorry driver.
23. Go out to the petrol station. Take the empty jerrican.

35. Click on the painting of Léa and you will see a safe. Now we have to get the code..

37. Exit the house, go to village, go to bakery.
39. Take the bucket. Go back to Martin's house.
41. Use bucket with top of door.
44. Take the brush from the paint area near the stairs.
45. Take the pencil and cutter on the right of the screen.
46. Go back to Martin's office.
49. Click on the painting.
50. Use the brush with graphite powder on the safe.
51. Put the painting back and go out.
52. Talk to Martin.
53. Go back into the office and crack the code. Mine is 492, not sure if it shuffles every time.
54. Get the manuscript!
55. Go into the church.

Jesus will then accuse Désiré of giving the manuscript to run away from his emotions, but Désiré thinks that it is because he has found his answers. The screen fades.
